Favorite Things: Deadlines. Processes. Thinking out loud, shortly followed by eureka moments and mad dashes for post-its.

Industries Served: Privately funded non-profits, higher education, public & private school districts, local government

Program Manager - Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland Council
2014 - present

I work alongside our Strategic Relationships, Volunteer Management and Marketing teams to develop content that enriches the lives of Girl Scouts, creates leadership pathways for adult volunteers, and builds meaningful relationships with corporate and community partners. Along the way, I collect and organize team processes and solutions to maximize efficiency in a waterfall approach to program management.

Co-Founder/Director of Operations 1myVote, LLC

2017 - present

As a co-founder and director at 1myVote, I perform a set of diverse functions. I have demonstrated our product to investors, community partners and early adopters, created our investor and pitch strategies, managed pilot programs, developed marketing materials, and kept our ambitious business strategy grounded with a functional roadmap and an agile approach to development.

Education Program Specialist Northern Illinois University

2010 - 2013

My role at Northern Illinois University was to utilize a systematic approach to outdoor and environmental learning that had not changed since its original development in 1973, while also keeping the material relevant to digital age users. To accomplish these two wildly different goals, I prioritized current trends in educational leadership techniques for staff training and place-based student service learning programs to begin momentum toward a more comprehensive review of course offerings.

Education Program Intern Shangri La Botanical Gardens

2009 - 2010

At Shangri La, I was known as the "Snake Lady." My crowning achievement, beyond catching 7' rat snakes, was the release of the much-needed "Self-Guided Tour" module for K-12 field trip support. The tour program significantly reduced costs for teachers, which created momentum among district administrators and sent more children through the experience. Tours also met Texas State Standards in support of Arts, Science, Mathematics and Social Studies requirements.

B.A. with Honors: Environmental Studies, History & Political Science, Philosophy

Rocky Mountain College | 2006 - 2009

From my long-winded triple major, it's easy to see that I enjoy learning (or that I can't make up my mind). In addition to my Liberal Arts and Sciences coursework, I served two terms as an elected member of the Associated Student Senate, founded our college chapter of the Roosevelt Institution for Social Justice, and earned the Environmental Studies Departmental Award for Academic Excellence. As part of my Philosophy concentration, I gained extensive experience in web design because my professor didn't believe in wasting paper.
